Hardcore monarchist Rabindra Mishra lose election, defeated by Prakashman for second time

Originally published on eadarsha | Kathmandu:  Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh won the parliamentarian election by defeating the senior vice president of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rabindra Mishra, by 129 votes.

Prakashman got 7140 votes while his rival Rashtriya Prajatantra Party candidate Ravindra Mishra got 7011 votes. In the election of 2018 too, Prakashman had defeated Rabindra.

A total of 27,010 votes were cast in this area, 2,115 votes were invalidated. Pukar Bam of Rashtriya Swatantra Party is in third place. He has surpassed Kiran Paudel of CPN-UML. Pukar Bam got 4112 votes and Kiran Paudel got 3508 votes. Ramesh Kharel of Nepal Good Governance Party has also got 3121 votes.
